Only in regulated trades: gas fitter, electrician, boiler technician, vet, architecture, accountant, lawyer and notary. In those we ask for the licence number, the issuing body and a photo of the certificate. Without an approved licence the trade is not published.

That our team checked their ID against a selfie and, in regulated trades, their licence against the issuing body's register. The light blue badge shows next to the name. A profile without the badge can still work: it means they have not finished the paperwork yet.
